Capt. Dave Trimble is the owner / operator of ON THE FLY FISHING CHARTERS. Through the past seven years Capt. Dave has released over 1,800 sharks on fly tackle in San Diego waters. Not limiting himself to fly gear, Capt. Dave has fished numerous west coast marlin tournaments, and is an avid light tackle fisherman as well. With a summer of guiding in Alaska, over 800 days at Lee's Ferry in Arizona, three winters in Costa Rica, and one in Panama, capt. Dave has the knowledge and experience to show you a great day on the water.

Capt. Jack Vincent is a California native, who for forty years has fished the waters of the west coast, from Fort Brag, Cal. to Ixtapa, Mexico. Since 1990 Capt Jack has fished the Southern California Bite for everything from Calico Bass along the coast to Tuna, Marlin, Dorado and Shark offshore. His specialty is Shark fishing for Mako and Thresher. Weather your target is a small Mako on light tackle, a hard fighting Thresher or a 500lb class Mako Capt Jack has the skill, knowledge and experience to make your trip a successful one..

Capt. Conway Bowman is the host of "Dollar Wise Fly Fishing" t.v. series on the V.S. Chanel. He is also the owner of Bowman Bluewater Guides and Outfitters. Capt. Conway is considered by many to be the pioneer of West coast Mako shark fishing with a fly rod. A San Diego native, Capt. Conway was catching pelagic species of all kinds in the pacific when others were questioning if it was even possible! A day on the water with him will send you back to the dock with a wealth of knowledge

Captain Brice Faulwetter was born and raised in San Diego, California. His love of fishing started at a very young age and has transpired into a career as a charter captain. He has been specifically targeting sharks for over six years and has learned from some of the best charter boat captains in California. At only 22 years of age, his fishing experience is astounding. He has had the opportunity to fish in nearly a dozen of the west coasts most prestigious tournaments for sharks and marlin. Capt. Brice has fished the Pacific from the Channel Islands to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. That being said, his passion for shark fishing off the Southern California coast consumes most of his time. Spend a day on the water with Capt. Brice, it's sure to be a good time!

Growing up on the beach 20 miles north of mission bay there wasn't any doubt the ocean was going to be a lifelong passion. Building his first boat at age 24 he started commercial fishing. Receiving his captains license in 2004 has given [old school] the opportunity to give back 30 plus years of of local fishing knowledge. "Sharks are my specialty / makos my passion". Loves to teach the novice young and old. Spend a day with 'old school' you'll feel the passion.
